We Provide Dentistry For Children In The Wayne, New Jersey Area

The Wand is an anesthetic

The Wand is an anesthetic delivery system controlled by computer. It provides patients with a consistent amount of numbing without requiring any needles or shots. Because the Wand is handheld, Dr. Long can precisely control the amount of anesthesia you receive. If you have an aversion to needles or feel apprehensive about receiving dental treatment, the Wand can make your visit easier and more comfortable.

Dr. Harry Long - Cosmetic Dentistry in Wayne, New Jersey

Welcome to my website. I Hope You Will Take A Few Minutes To Become Familiar With Me, My Philosophy And My Unique General And Cosmetic Dentistry Office In Wayne, New Jersey. I Have Dedicated Myself To Making My Office Different And Better Than Any Dental Office You Have Visited In The Past.

I really enjoy people. I like to listen as they tell me about their lives. I have spent much of my dental career focused on listening to the dental problems patients have brought to my office. Many patients have come to my office because they feel they have not been listened to in other dental offices. Patients tell me that I am good at helping them to find solutions to their dental problems.

I know that dentistry can be perceived as stressful and filled with unknown elements. My concern for my patients has led me to search out wonderful high tech equipment to help make your dental visits efficient, comfortable, pain free and fun. I have focused not only on the physical office, but on the people who take care of you.

My staff is gracious, courteous, caring and helpful. They are dedicated to making every contact with our office and every visit to our office very special. We all know there are lots of other places you could go for cosmetic dentistry in the Wayne, New Jersey area. Our goal is to make our office so unique that you would never think of going anywhere else for your dental care.

When you become a patient of our practice, you become part of our extended family. We care about you, we are concerned about you, and we will do our best to be there when you need us. We will help you to stay motivated so you will have the healthiest teeth and gums possible.

Our practice is dedicated to providing the highest possible quality general and cosmetic dentistry at our Wayne, New Jersey office. To that end, I take hundreds of hours of continuing education each year. I also am an instructor at the prestigious Rosenthal Institute for Esthetic Dentistry at NYU Dental School in Manhattan. I spend many happy hours every year teaching graduate dentists from all over the world how to provide advanced esthetic care to their patients.

Providing esthetic dental care for my patients has been a passion of mine for many years. I enjoy doing “Extreme Makeovers” and I really enjoy seeing the difference that a beautiful smile can make in someone's life.

Although I have dedicated the last 20 years of my life to improving my skills in listening and in cosmetic dentistry, my Wayne, New Jersey practice continues to serve the greater dental community. I have many children in my practice. They come in for regular cleanings and checkups. They find my office to be a joy. I have flat panel TV's in every room. Young people can watch Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon, and their appointment goes by without the stress associated with other dental offices. On the way out of the office they can take a bag of freshly popped popcorn. We try to make these young patients feel very special, because we know their attitudes about dentistry are being formed now. The better they feel about their visits to our office, the better they will feel about their general health.

I believe that no happy smile can be built on unhealthy gums and bone. My wonderful hygiene staff rescues patients with bleeding gums and smelly breath. These patients are helped through our Soft Tissue Management Program. The hygienists, under my supervision, thoroughly clean out the bacterial infections from under the gums and healthy tissue emerges. Once their gums are healthy, these patients have all the skills necessary to help keep their gums and supporting bone in optimal health. We supply the regular cleanings and checkups to assure their continued health.

If you think my office would fit into your lifestyle and my philosophy is in harmony with yours, and whether you need an “Extreme Makeover,” or just a cleaning and a check-up, I invite you to call my office today and schedule an appointment. I promise you we will be on time, and you will be excited to tell your friends about your truly unique new dental office.

At our office dental care will always be:

  • Convenient
  • Comfortable
  • Affordable
